Travelling on the Wedding day
Please note, Lorne does not have Ubers and there is only 1 taxi - so please take note of the below!
To get to the wedding venue, there are two options -
Buses will start running from 3:15pm and will pick up guests from:
Grand Pacific Hotel, Lorne
Lorne Hotel (Totti’s)
Lorne Visitor’s Centre Car Park
Alternatively you can drive to the Lorne Country Club, where there is ample parking and cars can be left overnight. The venue has asked that any cars be collected the next day (Saturday 1 Feb) by midday.
To get home from Lorne Country Club after the reception, there will again be private shuttle buses that will do a few trips around Lorne. The first bus will leave around 10:30pm, with last trip at 12:15am.
Travelling to Lorne
Lorne is a little over 2 hours from Melbourne (Collingwood); and the same from Tullamarine Airport.
If you fly into Avalon airport, you can save a bit of time (1h 20m to Lorne).

Where to stay
Wherever you want! There are lots of motels and Airbnbs in the area. Weekend houses along the Great Ocean Road are often listed through non-Airbnb sites such as Great Ocean Road Holidays.
The wedding party will be staying down the South end of Lorne, near the Angler’s Club.
